Hyundai Motor has successfully conducted its first platooning of trucks on a highway.

Platooning is an autonomous driving technology that would help the logistics industry in the future.

When the following truck approaches the leading vehicle, Hyundai's Xcient activates platooning mode and maintains a 16.7-meter distance, with real-time tuning based on the leading car’s acceleration and deceleration.
